Meet Tammy and Mark.
They are shaping Gasoline Automotive around more classic-car work while keeping everyday mechanical servicing firmly on the job list.
A workshop with an old-school pulse.
Tammy and Mark have spent the past year expanding workshop operations around Gasoline Automotive, the business Mark has built over decades in the trade.
Mark’s experience spans roughly 40 years, with a recognised interest in old-school and classic cars. That experience now shapes the business around classic car care and muscle cars.
At the same time, Gasoline Automotive continues to welcome the minor, major and logbook servicing that local motorists rely on. The two sides belong together: specialist enthusiasm backed by the discipline of a working mechanical workshop.
How the workshop approaches the job.
Listen before scoping
The owner’s goals and the car’s history matter, especially when the job is not routine.
Treat every vehicle individually
A classic project and a daily service call for different conversations, priorities and expectations.
Keep the work practical
Start with a sensible next step and avoid promises that are not supported by the car in front of us.
The plan is 70% classics and 30% general mechanical.
The long-term balance is clear: aim for around 70% classic and muscle-car care and maintenance, supported by around 30% standard mechanical servicing.
It is an ambitious direction, but an honest one. The everyday work keeps the workshop grounded. The classics are where experience, curiosity and enthusiasm come together.
Send the year, make and model.
Add a short description of the problem or the work you want done. That is enough to start the conversation.
